Trip to Big Island

We took a quick trip to the Big island for Victor's Birthday.  We stayed at the Hilton Waikola Village and participated in the Dolphin Quest program.  Kai loved swimming with the dolphins, feeding her fish, and doing tricks with Kona.  Kona's baby was also in the lagoon with us.  It was a fun weekend.  KAi loved the waterslide at the pool, riding the train and boats around the resort.

Haircut

We have been busy since Victor returned home.  Kai finally went to get a haircut.  He sat in the Hawaiian airlines plane and enjoyed getting his hair trimmed.

Deployment ends

On January 23, after 4 months in Afganistan, Victor returned safely home.  Kai was thrilled to have his Pa home.  Kai had welcomed home over 30 other soliders, and the return of his Pa was a happy day for him.
