Before Swim lessons

Kai and I have been keeping busy on the weekends with Victor on the Big Island.  Kai always likes to play with Caspian.  He loves his swim lessons at Mothers Beach.  He is getting really good at using his swim arms and legs.  Kai and I get to swim class on time, while the rest of the class is on Hawaii time.  This means Kai gets two classes.  A private lesson and then a group lesson.  He loves it.  THis past weekend was also his friend Mckenzie's first birthday.  It was at her ranch.  Kai was able to pet the donkeys, who have been extras in Lost.  He also went on the bounce house for the first time, he really enjoyed it until a 3 year bounced on him.

Alie comes to Visit

Alie spent the week visiting us.  We had an awesome time visiting with her.  Since Vic was around, I was able to go paddle boarding and snorkling with her while she was here.  Alie was able to take advantage of the swell and go surfing.

Ko'Olina Lagoon

This past week we were lucky to go on the senior leaders retreat at the Marriot at Ko-Olina.  Victor flew home from the Big Island to spend some time with us. Kai loved playing in the room and taking a shower in the huge shower. The last day were were able to take some time to swim in the Lagoon.

Acting like a big boy

Kai loves climbing to the table.  Sometimes he will play nicely with his toys or other times he we climb onto the table and dance.  Either way he loves sitting at the table.

Rainbows

Biking is tiring

We frequently see rainbows on our daily outings.  When Kai and I ride our bike to the Haleiwa.  We also see them at the beach when we walk Caspian there.  Here are a few pictures

Swim Lessons

Kai started taking swim lessons at Mother's Beach.  We go at 9am and Kai learns to blow bubbles, do swim arms and kick his legs.  He enjoys the class and blows bubble in the bath now.  He will not blow bubbles during class only in his private practice sessions.  His teacher is a local surfer name Ceiceila.  He loves to play in the sand when class is over.  He is making lots of new swim class friends.  His friend Olive is there, Atticus, and Mikey.

Victor leaves for the Big Island for 2 months.  He spent some quality time with Kai before he left.
