Toddler Bed
Kai has hated his crib for some time. He climbs right out as soon as he goes in. Toddler beds were on sale at babiesrus and I picked one up for him. Victor quickly assembled it and I am working on getting Kai to sleep in it full time. He likes to read books and jump on it. Its a start. Hopefully, he will quickly and successfully transition to this new bed. Boy does he look cute in it. Caspian also enjoys it.

North Shore Bike Rides
Kai and I take a bike ride everyday. In the evening, we go to the local park so Kai can blow off some steam before it gets dark. In the morning, we change it up. After walking Caspian, eating breakfast and vacuuming. We will ride to see the horses or to see the turtles and the boats. Kai is a big fan of either ride. We also ride a couple times of week to Courtney's house to go to the beach with her. Kai has sand toys he keeps at his house, so we are always ready to play.
On the weekends, Kai gets to ride with his Pa. We go to the Haleiwa Cafe for breakfast of eggs benedict and papaya. Kai likes to play in the dive shop while we wait for our food. Then we bike by the boats and stop at the choo choo train park.

| Kai, Halle and Mark Dale |
On Tuesday, Kai had a playdate at the Ko Olina lagoons. Kai and I had made cupcakes the night before for Jessica's birthday. Kai had a great time playing in the water, on the rocks and then running around. He enjoyed the company of Halle, Mckenzie, and Mark Dale.

Word of the week
This week Kai has replaced "nonononono" with "more". Complete with sign language more. More food, more park, more bike, more pinball. All Kai wants is more. We watched a butterfly on the flowers outside. It stayed for awhile but once it flew away. "bubba, more more". WE now read stories 8 times in a row. And more paball is a favorite. paball=pinball and we always want more pinball.
We painted the pumpkin we picked. It is beautiful and Kai likes to admire it everyday.
I bought a new camera, it is waterproof and shockproof. Kai will put it to the test, for sure. Please bear with me as I learn how to use it with photos and rotations.

Splash Park
Schofield Barracks has several splash parks. Kai loves them. He runs as fast as he can through the water and examines where the water comes from. We now schedule playdates here.

Caspian's Birthday
Caspian turned 11 and we celebrated his birthday with a trip to the beach. Caspi rarely go for rides in the car because the Prius is small and we can wwalk everywhere. For his birthday, I drove him to a local beach. His birthday presents were more of a hit with Kai. We saw several turtle and a golden retrievor while playing at the beach.

Happy Labor Day
Labor Day weekend. Kai was busy playing with his friends at the playground, farmers market, the beach, his ball pit and the bandstand. We were very busy. THis month's performers were the Royal Hawaiian Band. They always put on a good show We only stayed for 30 minutes this time because someone kept trying to walk into the street. The 30 minutes were well spent dancing to the music.
